Remembering those who died for our nation
They shall grow not old, as we that are
left grow old;
age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
Where do we remember them?
At the Cenotaph in London but also war memorials
and churches in our villages.

Celebrating the Harvest
The Joys of the seasons and in thankfulness from the first seed, water, nurture, care, harvesting, packing, sending and for us to buy
Jesus
said: God's
kingdom is like what happens when a farmer scatters seed in a
field. The farmer sleeps at night and is
up and around during the day. Yet the seeds keep sprouting and growing, and
he doesn't understand how.

We heard a reading from Luke 2 of Simeon and Anna greeting Jesus as Saviour of the world and there was good singing... and munching!
January 2022
We welcomed Foxgloves (Yr5/6) from Adisham CEP to Holy Innocents where we heard about Jesus being presented in the Temple and well read by Brook. Great fun in making and lighting our Christingles in reminding us of Christ as the Light of the World.

Trinity Sunday (30th May)
How do we think of God as the Father, God as the Son and God the Holy Spirit?
Some times we just need to let our imaginations meet with the mystery of God our Creator, Jesus who Saves Us and the Holy Spirit who sustains us - but always God.
Pentecost (23rd May)
Then
they saw what looked like tongues of fire which spread out and touched each
person. Can fire and winds remind us of the Holy Spirit within and around us?
