GOD CALLS OUT TO US
Opening Prayer
As we see the world around us,
we give thanks for Creation.
Thank you God in caring for us,
we are children of your World.
Sharing a Bible Story --- You can watch & listen to this clicking:-
The reading is about a man long ago who was known as Saul and did not like people who followed Jesus, but an amazing thing happened to him when he encountered the risen Jesus who asked Saul why he was punishing his people? This meeting changed Saul in to loving and not hating Jesus and he changed his name to Paul. The Church knows him as St Paul and he helped to spread the good news (Gospel) of Jesus across the known world.
Imagine the story ---- Try imagining that you
are in the story…
-
If Jesus suddenly spoke to you out of a brilliant light how would you
react?
-
A long time ago God spoke to Moses out of a bright burning bush
can you remember what he had to take off as he
was standing on
holy ground?*
- Saul/Paul
was blind for three days before his eyes were opened.
How does that remind us about the
Easter Story? **
What can you do?
St Paul was asked to be a leader.
Have you been asked to take a lead with a task at school or
a job around the house?
Prayer
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, evermore. Amen.
* his shoes!
** Jesus laid in the tomb for 3 days before God brought him back to life.

We share the Light of Christ.
The Light shines in the darkness.

The reading is about the very beginning of the Church when the disciples carry on the wonderful teaching and healing activities of Jesus because of the gift of the Holy Spirit that God sent them on the Day of Pentecost.
Relive the moment
Try imagining that you are in the story…
What would your reaction be?
Would you want to ask Peter what Church was all about?
What will you do?
How will you make someone feel better with a kind word?
How
can you help your family with something that you do?
Prayer
Dear God,
help me to share my love for you. Amen.
