Harvest Services and Events during September there will be lots of events across all of our churches.
Kingston Fete will take place on Saturday 5th September on the Playing Field and in the church from 11-3 pm. Bring your cash and have a fun day of socialising and visiting the stalls with a packed programme of events. In aid of St Giles church.
Look out for our revamped monthly service. Family Friendly Café style Church in Kingston will be on Sunday 6th September. Less sitting and more doing! Breakfast coffee and pastries from 9.30 pm. Everyone Welcome.
We're looking for 'church sitters' to welcome guests to all our Benefice churches on Saturday 12th September for the Ride & Stride. Sit for an hour or two sometime between 10am - 6pm, welcome guests, enjoy the peace and explore the church. Please let us know if you'd like to help.
At Holy Innocents guests to the Heritage Open Day will also be welcome.
There will be an 11.00 am Harvest Holy Communion at St Giles, Kingston on 13th September.
Friday 18th September Rusty Langton Jazz Men at 7 pm at St Margaret's church, Womenswold in aid of the church
Saturday 19th September 6.30 pm Harvest Home Party at Charlton Park Cricket Ground in Bishopsbourne. Bar, Band and Festive Food. Tickets are £60, available from Gubby gmbtwigg25@outlook.com
On Sunday the 20th September, there will be an 11 am Harvest Holy Communion at Bishopsbourne.
This will be followed by a Benefice Harvest Lunch on Sunday 20th September in Barham Village Hall from 12.30 pm. Please bring a Quiche, salad or a Pudding to share. The sign-up sheet for this will be at the back of our churches. Tickets will be available from the 16th August at £5 each, from Barham village shop and at church services
In the evening of the 20th September there will also be a Harvest Songs of Praise at 6pm at Womenswold, followed by wine and nibbles.
Our Harvest season will be rounded off on Sunday 27th September with a 9.30 am Harvest service with Kent College Choir at Barham and an 11 am Harvest Holy Communion at Adisham
Our last special service in September will also be on the 27th at 3 pm in Bishopsbourne with a Pet Blessing service.
